How we work together
Every phase is anchored by a structured, proprietary design framework. It grants you the absolute clarity to direct your project with total authority and at your own pace. We review, refine, and build on it together in your weekly 1:1 session.
The Inner Image
Before any design decision can feel right, you need to know what you actually want and who you really are. Not what looks good on Pinterest, not what your architect suggests, not what is currently trending.
This phase is about self-discovery.
What are your daily rituals — the ones that a well-designed space should quietly support?
Observe tactile experiences, light and shadow, scent and sound and find the answers to what makes you feel truly at home in your own skin.
The framework guides you through questions you may never have thought to ask. The answers become the foundation for everything that follows.
From Vision To Plan
With a clear sense of who you are and how you want to live, the focus shifts to space and visual identity.
Together we explore your floor plan. Only when you know the scale of your furniture does a floor plan reveal whether it truly works for you. Depending on your preference, we work analogue with tracing paper and ruler, or digitally with a simple tool I provide for your use throughout this phase.
Then comes the moodboard: collecting images, colours, forms, and materials — pinning, removing, refining — until only what truly belongs remains. Room by room, a coherent visual direction begins to take shape.
Every step is supported by your framework and reviewed together in your weekly 1:1 session.
The vision is clear. In the next step we ensure that it becomes buildable.
Informed & In Control
This is where everything comes together and where the preparation from the previous phases proves its worth.
A room book documents every decision, room by room: the hundreds of details that seem independent but are deeply connected.
The room book forces you to think the entire process through — once, carefully, in advance. You learn that your decisions have direct influence on the working flow on site. You understand that your answers determine what will still be possible next.
The room book also becomes your budget framework. A single document where quotes, selections, and costs come together, so you always know where you stand.
The result, once you completed the room book, you arrive on site prepared and able to communicate with contractors, suppliers, and craftspeople as an equal. That changes everything. Because on a building site, requests for decisions come fast and without context. But you are prepared.
Build with Confidence
The preparation is done. Now the real project begins.
Building sites move fast and rarely according to plan. For those moments when you become unsure of a decision or a situation needs a second eye — additional 1:1 sessions are available to book separately.
